Clarion Partners creates power and energy strategy group, appoints Magesh Srinivasan to lead it

Clarion Partners has created a power and energy strategy group covering its large-scale industrial real estate portfolio, and hired Magesh Srinivasan to lead it as senior vice president, power and energy strategy, a newly created role. The group aims to secure power for existing and prospective tenants, manage energy infrastructure and running costs, and turn power availability into a source of value.
Srinivasan has more than 18 years in energy markets. He was most recently global head of energy markets at Prologis, and earlier spent over 14 years at Southern California Edison. He will work with Clarion's investment, development, leasing and asset management teams, plus utilities and grid stakeholders.
