Elliott, Siris weigh $2bn-plus sale of Gigamon

Elliott Investment Management and Siris Capital are exploring a sale of Gigamon, a network infrastructure software provider, which could be valued at more than $2bn, Hedgeweek reports, citing a Reuters report based on unnamed sources. Bank of America and Perella Weinberg Partners are advising, and the process is at an early stage and confidential. Private equity firms and strategic buyers could be interested.

According to the sources, Gigamon has annual recurring revenue above $400m and EBITDA of about $170m. Elliott took the company private in 2017 at a value of roughly $1.6bn, and Siris bought a minority stake in 2024.
