ASIC suspends fundraising for three ASCF private credit funds
Thursday, October 8, 2026 · first reported by Private Equity Wire and 1 other
ASIC has issued an interim stop order covering the product disclosure statement for three private credit funds run by Australian Secure Capital Fund: the ASCF Premium Capital Fund, ASCF Select Income Fund and ASCF High Yield Fund. ASCF may not offer, issue, sell or transfer interests in them while the order stands.
The regulator said the statement lacked detail on loan portfolios and diversification, was unclear in places, may contain a misleading statement, and omitted disposal costs and details of an investor reserve account. ASIC may make the orders final if its concerns go unaddressed, and ASCF can make submissions first.
