Newcore Capital, a U.K. social infrastructure manager, has received £30 million ($39.75 million) from Greater Manchester Pension Fund (GMPF) for its core-plus strategy. GMPF is dividing the money equally between the Newcore Social Infrastructure Income Fund (NSIIF) and a sidecar, the NSIIF North West Co-investment Partnership, whose allocation is ring-fenced for north west England and the wider Northern LGPS region.
NSIIF, a £375 million semi-open-end fund, aims for annual net returns of 9 to 11 percent and annual distributions of 4 to 5 percent. Its second close in February 2026 lifted commitments above £100 million, and it has made 20 investments to date.
