Kite Lake to launch diversified credit fund led by former Tyrus partner
Wednesday, October 7, 2026 · first reported by Hedgeweek
Kite Lake Capital Management is set to open its Diversified Credit Fund in the fourth quarter, according to Bloomberg, which cited an investor note. The London-based manager will pair liquid global credit with convertible arbitrage in the hedge fund, and partner Damien Regnier will lead it. Regnier moved to Kite Lake in May after being a partner at Tyrus Capital, where he ran the convertible bonds business. Kite Lake, which manages about $3.9bn, declined to comment. The note also shows its KL Special Opportunities Fund down 0.67% in September, which cut its gain for the year to 6.26%.
