How a move is listed

• From the firms’ sites. Each week the directory reads every listed firm’s own bio pages. A move is listed when a bio goes from one firm’s site and a profile with the same name, in the same trade, appears on another firm’s, sharing a bar admission or a school. A name with more than one match is left out. None so far.
• From our news. A FundOpsHQ hire story that names a listed person, with a headline naming the firm they are listed at. The firm they left is given only when the story names it.
• Dates. When the old bio was first missed, or the first report of the hire.
