Wednesday, October 28, 2026 · first reported by Devdiscourse and 1 other
PureTerra II, a Dutch venture capital fund for early-stage water technology companies, mainly in Europe, has received a €30 million commitment from the European Investment Fund (EIF). New Private Markets notes that the EIF made a commitment of equal size to the first PureTerra fund in 2021.
The deal was signed at European Water Technology Week in Leeuwarden, with backing from the European Commission's InvestEU programme. Target areas include preventing water pollution, clean-water processes, circular water systems and efficient water use. The management team is described as one of the first in Europe to concentrate only on water.
