Switzer-CARTY Transportation (SCT), a school bus operator based in Burlington, Ontario and owned by Terramont Infrastructure Partners, has obtained a $300 million credit facility. A syndicate of five banks, with Scotiabank leading, provided the financing.
The facility is revolving, so SCT can draw money when needed under its terms. The proceeds are meant to back expansion in Canada and the United States. SCT runs thousands of vehicles across both countries, covering home-to-school routes, accessible student transit and custom charters.
