What counts. A fund close or raise, an acquisition or a merger that FundOpsHQ carried, whose report names the firm as an adviser. Launches and hires are not counted.
One deal, one count. Several outlets’ reports of the same deal count once, dated to the first.
Which firms. Law firms with fund lawyers listed in the FundOpsHQ Directory, matched on the names the reports use.
What it is not. A ranking of quality or of market share. It counts the deals in the stories we carried; many deals are announced without naming counsel.
Strategy. As the league table files a fund close; a deal by the reports’ own tag.
Corrections. The fields are read from the reports by software and can be wrong. Tell us and we will fix the row.
