Tuesday, October 27, 2026 · first reported by IREI
Melbourne's Bowen Crescent, a recently finished rental apartment scheme, has been acquired by M&G Real Estate for A$158 million ($111 million). The purchase is the first in Australia's build-to-rent sector for the Asia Living Property strategy, lifting its assets to roughly A$500 million ($352 million). That portfolio covers multifamily, student housing, land-lease communities and senior living.
The 17-story building stands near the CBD and major universities. Its 215 managed apartments have one, two or three bedrooms, and residents get co-working space, a gym, a pool, a sauna and a cold plunge.
