Generali Investments tokenizes a share class of its money market fund and prepares to extend it to all clients
Monday, October 26, 2026 · first reported by RankiaPro
Generali Investments has launched a natively tokenized share class of the Generali Money Market Fund, a Luxembourg-domiciled fund issued and managed by Generali Asset Management. Distributed ledger technology (DLT) records and represents the shares digitally.
Subscription is limited for now to authorized companies within the Generali Group. The manager calls this the first step in a tokenized offering to be extended to all its clients. It expects near-instant settlement, faster redemption proceeds, fully digital processes, extended trading windows and secondary-market trading. Generali Investments manages €759 billion as of June 30, 2026.
