Waterford Retirement Village at Kincumber, on the NSW Central Coast, has been acquired by Adelaide-based ICAM for its Diversified Seniors Living Fund. The village has 99 independent living units. Its previous owner was a private company set up in 2001 by Director Mark Kamper and a group of colleagues and friends. Shane Nicholson of ACSL Property brokered the deal, and no price was disclosed.
The fund began in April 2022 and now holds five villages across NSW, South Australia and Victoria. Its portfolio is valued at more than $75 million, with a target of about $200 million to $300 million. Waterford is ICAM's second NSW village purchase in a year.
