Friday, October 30, 2026 · first reported by Law360
The Securities and Exchange Commission has settled with a New York investment adviser, which will pay $364,000. It left conflicts of interest undisclosed when its affiliated broker-dealer received revenue-sharing compensation, and it used misleading liability disclaimer wording in its advisory agreements.
