Yvonne Bajela is bringing $17M in fresh capital to Europe’s startup scene
Tuesday, November 3, 2026 · first reported by TechCrunch and 4 others
Evertrue, a new venture firm founded by Yvonne Bajela, has closed its debut fund at $17 million, oversubscribed against a target of around $13 million. Bajela, previously at LocalGlobe and Impact X Capital Partners, turned away extra investors rather than enlarge the fund.
Evertrue has five institutional backers, among them the British Business Bank and Basecamp. About 80% of its LPs are based in the U.K. The fund will invest mainly in early-stage AI and fintech companies, with cheques averaging about £350,000. It has backed seven companies and plans at least 20 over three years.
