Deutsche Bank, EIB Launch €560 Million SpaceTech Fund
Tuesday, November 3, 2026 · first reported by n24.com.tr
A new financing partnership between Deutsche Bank and the European Investment Bank (EIB) will put 560 million euros into the European space sector. Launch providers, satellite manufacturers and developers of in-orbit services are among the companies it targets, and flexible financing structures will be used. Roughly half of the money is set aside for Germany, and the rest goes to other European Union countries.
The European Space Agency (ESA) will supply technical expertise and market intelligence. The agreement was completed before the ESA Space Investor Forum in Munich. It falls under Space TechEU, an EIB programme begun in November 2025 with a 1.4 billion euro mobilisation goal.
