Keppel seeks US$1 billion for Vietnam investments as it joins country’s international financial centre
Sunday, November 1, 2026 · first reported by The Business Times
Up to US$1 billion for Vietnamese real estate could be raised through investment platforms that Keppel is looking at, the company said on Oct 28. Most of the money would come from outside investors, via co-investment deals with global partners.
Keppel is also one of 10 founding members of VIFC-HCMC, the international financial centre in Ho Chi Minh City. Together the members expect to mobilise and invest about US$2.7 billion through 2027, VIFC-HCMC said. Keppel's first Vietnam-focused real estate fund closed at US$400 million in 2020, against a US$600 million target.
