Hayfin and Capreon acquire former RBS City of London HQ
Tuesday, November 3, 2026 · first reported by IPE Real Assets
Hayfin Capital Management and Capreon, a European real estate manager, have bought 280 Bishopsgate in the City of London, the building that formerly served as Royal Bank of Scotland's headquarters. The price was not disclosed. The 13-storey office block near Liverpool Street station is fully let and was redeveloped in 2022.
It is the second joint City purchase for the two firms, which bought 70 St Mary Axe from Nuveen in December 2025. Capreon says it plans to apply its asset and investment management expertise to improve the building's performance.
