I Squared Capital hits $3bn for infra credit strategy
Tuesday, November 3, 2026 · first reported by Alternative Credit Investor
I Squared Capital has wrapped up fundraising for ISQ Global Infrastructure Credit Fund II, which closed with over $2.4bn in commitments. Co-investment vehicles account for another $600m, whether already pledged or anticipated, so the strategy as a whole stands at $3bn. That is twice the $1.5bn the firm first aimed for, and the fund is four times the size of the one before it.
Seven investments have so far absorbed around 37 per cent of the capital. The fund lends to mid-market businesses owning and running essential infrastructure, among them power generation and grids, fibre networks, data centres, ports, terminals and logistics. Latham & Watkins was legal counsel to I Squared and the fund.
