Apogem beats real assets fund target by 24%, raises $472m across programme

Monday, October 12, 2026 · first reported by AltAssets and 4 others

Apogem Capital has completed the final close of its Apogem Real Assets Fund IV Program with $472 million in total. The flagship fund, Apogem Real Assets Fund IV (ARAF IV), holds $372 million of commitments, among them $12 million from employees, and a separate co-investment account for real assets adds $100 million. ARAF IV finished above its $300 million target.

The strategy is a thematic, value-oriented approach to natural resources. It invests via co-investments, direct investments and secondaries, aimed at lower middle and middle market companies. Targets span energy, natural resources, infrastructure and related services, chiefly in North America and other Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development markets. Apogem set up its real assets platform in 2014 and has put roughly $1 billion to work.
