Heitman appoints Dan Butler to strengthen consultant relations

Heitman, which manages real estate investments globally, has brought on Dan Butler as senior vice president of consultant relations, a post within its client service and marketing group. His work will centre on managing relationships and winning business from investment consultants and from outsourced CIO-style intermediaries, helping the firm raise institutional capital.

Butler has spent almost twenty years in capital raising, investor relations and investment advisory across real estate and real assets. Sera Global's private capital advisory group was his latest employer. Before that he held roles at Round Hill Capital, Brookfield Asset Management and ARA.
