Friday, October 16, 2026 · first reported by IREI
Invesco Real Estate (IRE) is entering Korea's student housing market with a new Seoul platform, run in partnership with PCP Standard. PCP Standard, which Altos Ventures backs and which is described as Korea's first specialist in this niche, will operate the portfolio.
Five properties beside Korea University anchor the launch. IRE recently bought them: three through forward purchases and two as development sites, together providing over 400 beds. Rooms are aimed mainly at Korean students looking for affordable options. Further acquisitions and developments are planned, including near other major Seoul universities.
