Friday, October 16, 2026 · first reported by IREI
Liberty Mutual Investments (LMI) has formed a strategic partnership with Elda River Capital Management, a real assets firm focused on energy and energy infrastructure. It targets up to $500 million of credit investments, and it widens the senior credit options Elda River can offer middle-market borrowers.
Earlier in October, LMI expanded its partnership with Orion Infrastructure Capital (OIC) by launching a credit income strategy for middle-market infrastructure debt. Under a long-term investment management agreement, LMI may deploy up to $750 million. The two firms have jointly committed $240 million so far. The strategy sits within OIC's existing infrastructure credit business.
