Tuesday, October 13, 2026 · first reported by Alternative Credit Investor
Pemberton Asset Management has opened a Tokyo office and plans a second Asian office in the near future. Jun Narui, head of Asia Pacific, and Shintaro Mori, in business development, are relocating to Tokyo, along with Ayu Kurauchi, who works in investor relations.
Two new hires are also based there: Shotaro Sese as executive director for business development and Naoko Nozaki as head of compliance. Pemberton manages $34bn (£25.6bn) and has had Japanese institutional investors since 2018. It says investors in the region are increasingly allocating to European private credit.
