Wednesday, November 4, 2026 · first reported by Alternative Credit Investor
Funding Circle has named Rob Straathof as its next chief executive. He replaces Lisa Jacobs, who said in September that she would step down. Straathof is due to start in the first half of 2027. Until then Jacobs continues to run the business, and she will leave by September 2027 at the latest.
Straathof currently leads Grover, a European technology subscription platform based in Germany. He previously spent almost ten years as chief executive of Liberis, which grew under him into a global embedded finance platform.
