Amundi extends tokenisation to index investing
Friday, November 6, 2026 · first reported by About Amundi
Amundi has launched a tokenised share class of one of its flagship European equity index funds, taking tokenisation beyond cash management products into index investing. The share class was issued on the public Ethereum blockchain and was built with CACEIS, using its technology and infrastructure for tokenising fund units.
The share class sits within the fund's existing operating model, and the fund can still be accessed through traditional channels. Amundi earlier introduced a tokenised share class of a money market fund and subscription via stablecoins.
