Thursday, November 5, 2026 · first reported by Alternative Credit Investor
The British Business Bank has committed up to £59m to BPC Europe SME DAC, Beach Point Capital's fourth UK and Ireland SME direct lending fund. The commitment is part of a £65.7m first close.
The bank previously put £20m in 2022 and £30m in 2025 into Beach Point's first dedicated UK SME lending fund. With the new commitment, its potential total to the firm is expected to pass £100m, the firms said. The fund is sector-agnostic, though Beach Point plans to keep investing in financial services and digital and technologies businesses.
